Discussion evening energy transition

The next evening's discussion is about perhaps the most important means of mitigating climate change: energy transition. To meet the climate targets agreed in Paris in 2015, the government has drawn up a policy plan to shake up our energy system. Switching to renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power and closing coal-fired power plants are addressed in it. All this is important to drastically reduce the use of fossil fuels and CO2 emissions. But how does the government intend to achieve this? What priorities should be set and what choices made? Is it a win-win for everyone? What is sustainable? And by what deadline (now no later than 2050) should the changes be introduced? These and many other questions will be addressed. Come and join the discussion!
