On 11 September, 1.30pm, members of DWARS Gelderland are invited to join a private tour of the Nijmegen-Betuwe Wind Farm. Beforehand, there will also be a presentation on the wind turbines (and the Solar Park under construction).
In sign of the ‘Open Energy Day’, there will be presentations and tours of the Wind and Solar Park. Among other things, you can experience (in virtual reality) what it is like to stand on top of a wind turbine, all questions about this kind of clean energy can be answered and apples can be picked in the garden, should the weather be nice.
