DWARS stands in solidarity with Kick Out Zwarte Piet

Back in 2015, the UN confirmed what activists had previously demanded: Zwarte Piet is a racist caricature and therefore his appearance must change. Demonisation of the organisation fighting for this is unacceptable, which is why DWARS signed the letter Solidarity with KOZP. 
Demonstrating is a right, but the grimness, brutality and assaults by pro-ZP demonstrators made the demonstration viable only for the bravest. Through intimidation, pro-ZP demonstrators made demonstrations impossible.
