DWARS is looking for members for the CampCo!
What does the Campaign Committee do?
The Campaign Committee supports the board in organising campaigns. The committee helps think about promotional materials, actions and events. Creativity and experience with campaigning is nice, but most important is that you are enthusiastic and want to invest time in DWARS's campaigns. In times when there are no elections, this committee will focus on substantive campaigns. These are campaigns that focus on promoting specific DWARSe political spearheads.
What are you doing?
As a committee member, you can take on various tasks related to the organisation of the campaign. You will meet once a week. It takes about 3 hours a week, though this will increase towards the elections.
Who are you?
As a member of the committee, it is important to be able or willing to learn the following:
- Organisational acumen;
- Creativity in devising and organising campaign actions;
- Strong communication skills;
- Dexterity with coming up with social media content, or willingness to invest time in it.
What will the year look like?
Municipal elections are coming up in March. You will pick up these elections together with the Young Socialists and their Campaign Committee. After the municipal elections, there is still room to set up a substantive campaign, but this also depends on whether you and the board member in charge are willing and able to do so.
