GroenLinkse young people elect new board

Last Sunday in Groningen, the new board of DWARS, the political youth organisation affiliated to GroenLinks, was elected. Led by Tilburger Bas van Weegberg, a new team will set to work to make the Netherlands greener and fairer. Other freshly elected board members are Utrechters Anne van Gemst, Nol van Gerven and Lotte Kars, Rotterdam-based Sigrid Oosterwegel and Wageningen-based Rosanne Groot.

Van Weegberg: "It is an honour to lead our movement of over three thousand politically engaged young people. With this new board, we will set to work full of enthusiasm and energy to give solidarity, sustainability and liberality hands and feet."

The new board will start work from 1 July.
