Global Young Greens Congress
08 April 2017Last weekend, the Global Young Greens conference took place in Liverpool! Young people from 43 countries gathered here to discuss how to build a good network. DWARS also attended. In part, we considered the Global Young Greens' constitution. Our amendments to clarify membership and simplify the way we vote were adopted. Part of our amendments on gender balance (against quotas of 50+ women) were passed.
In addition, this congress was a great opportunity to share experiences. For example, how do the Swedish and Luxembourg young Greens experience having a parent party in government? What are young Greens engaged in in Guatemala or Canada?
