The Search Committee looks for people for (board) positions within DWARS. The committee approaches people - or is approached - and talks to them about available posts. For positions for which elections are held at the congress, the Search Committee keeps in close contact with the Candidates Committee to ensure that enough candidates apply. The Search Committee is an independent body and is appointed by the Summer Congress for a one-year term. The committee is also accountable to the congress.

The committee consists of the following members:

• Lars van de Boer
• Liva Francken
• Lian van Vulpen

The committee will work as a joint committee with the JS in the second half of 2025-2026. The members appointed to the committee by the JS are:

• Cheryl Spaargaren
• Sem Zilverberg
