DWARS makes case for greening education

14 May 2018
DWARS, the political youth organisation affiliated to GroenLinks, with student fractions across the country, is calling on educational institutions to go green. The GroenLinkse youths want these fractions from their university or student council to convince the board of their educational institution to adopt sustainable banking.
DWARS chairman Bas van Weegberg: "With this campaign, we are trying to ensure that Dutch educational institutions switch to a sustainable bank. An awful lot of money goes through educational institutions. By moving a university's money from a grey to a green bank, we can make a really big impact in the fight against climate change."
DWARS offers their manifesto Green Our Education! to many student groups nationwide. This manifesto calls on the groups to commit to greening their educational institution in five different aspects.
