DWARS IN ACTION: Ahold

DWARS in action! Today, DWARS was on the doorstep of Ahold Delhaize, parent company of Albert Heijn, among others. This is to make a fist against supermarkets that misclassify their cashiers. FNV Jong sounded the alarm when it emerged that many young people receive less money than they earn: due to incorrect grading, they miss out on about one euro an hour.

This cannot go on, which is why today DWARS protested along with FNV Jong to let Ahold know that their staff should get the money they deserve. Ahold refused to sign FNV Jong's letter of intent - calling on them to abide by their own collective agreement - so this fight is not over yet.
