Seat predictor

The House of Representatives elections are coming up again and all the polling firms are again running at full speed. The board has also started predicting on the whiteboard on the building for which seats will end up with which parties. Will GL-PvdA be the biggest? What will Henri Bontenbal do, and can BIJ1 count on a seat? All questions to which you can also give your answer! 17 September you can take part in the DWARS TK Seat Predictor below. Will you go all in on the downfall of the VVD, or do you think Aant Jelle Soepboer will return? The person who predicts best will get a packed DWARS goodie bag, with another extra nice surprise! Take part and stand a chance!

How does the Predictor work?

Below you can start predicting. For each party, indicate how many seats you think they will win. The parties shown are those currently represented in the Lower House, in order of seats won in 2023. If you want to place a seat next to a party that is not currently represented in the House of Representatives, for instance BIJ1 or the VvD, you can do so under seats otherwise. If you enter a number there, a text box will appear to indicate for which party you are predicting seats. You can enter up to three parties that are currently not represented in the chamber.

Below that, you will see a counter of how many seats you have entered so far. Only when it reaches 150 can you submit your prediction. Then enter your name and e-mail address so we can contact you! We also need it to confirm whether you are a member, and whether you have entered it more than once. Only your most recent attempt counts.

You can also make a completely out-of-the-box prediction. This will not count towards the point count but we will see which one is the most fun, and if anything comes out of it. Will Yesilgöz plummet after drinking sinas out of a straw, will FNP become the biggest or will a big scandal come to light? Think of it as crazy as you can!

How Does the Point Count Work?

There will be a look at how many seats you predicted correctly. Everyone starts at 150 points, and for every seat you are wrong, you get 1 point deduction. Those results are converted to a score out of 100, whoever is then at the top is the winner!
