The DWARS Seat Predictor has closed and it's only a few days until the election, so it's time for the DWARSe Coalition Calculator! Our campaign, those of GL-PvdA and all the other parties are heading towards an end, but we are not there yet. Looking at the polls, GL-PvdA has a good chance of cabinet participation, but it is close at the top. Who will be the biggest, and who may cooperate? Lots of options, not so much wiggle room. But while we don't know the result yet, we can already look ahead to the formation! Use the Coalition Calculator to puzzle with the latest polls, your own predictions and the results of your wildest dreams. Will it be a left-wing revolution, can the CDA cross over to the right after all, or will we remain stuck in the hatred and stagnation of the past two years? How does the calculator work?
At the top, you can tick parties, the seats listed with those parties are added up and you immediately see how many seats they have together. You can enter these seats at the bottom of the page. The default values are based on the last polling guide By Tom Louwerse (last updated 28.10). On results night, these defaults will be updated with the exit poll. Don't feel the need to put together your own coalition, but want to see at a glance where things stand? Then take a look at the different coalition options, some more serious, some slightly less so. Those totals are also automatically updated when you adjust the seats at a party.
