Soesha is Vice president and board member Participation & Democracy and Schooling. She is 22 years old, originally from Utrecht and lives in The Hague. She gained experience at DWARS Leiden-Haaglanden, where she spent two years on the board department, the education committee and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management. Soesha graduated in HBO European Studies. She is committed to an accessible and inclusive association, where everyone feels welcome and heard. She is also highly motivated to make the idealistic voice of DWARS heard.
As vice-president, Soesha, together with the president, deals with managing the national board. From Training, she is responsible for coordinating the training programme, talent management and training policy. This year, this also includes the Provincial Councilors 2027 trajectory. As board member Participation and Democracy, Soesha is responsible for the merger process, association democracy, organising congresses and DWARS influence at GroenLinks. She is also responsible for the accessibility and participation policy and the code of conduct.
