Rik is a general board member with the portfolios National Politics and Pledge Management. He is 21 years old and lives in Nijmegen. Previously, he has been a member of the CoCo, chairman of the DemonstraCie and divisional board of DWARS Gelderland. Besides serving as a board member of DWARS, he studies Political Science in Nijmegen.
From his National Politics portfolio, Rik is responsible for the DWARSe political positions, follows the news and keeps the board informed of what is going on. He is also responsible for the political advisers and maintains contact with the first chamber. From his property management portfolio, he is responsible for the DWARS premises. He ensures that committees can meet there and is responsible for the archives, inventory and security of the premises.
