DWARS at WO in Action

17 December 2018

"Less interest, more students!" Last Friday, DWARSers stood in The Hague to protest with WO in Actie. Over two thousand students and lecturers were on their feet to show the government that enough is enough: it is time for a lower workload for lecturers and more accessible education for students. Lisa Westerveld, MP with the education portfolio for GroenLinks, was also present with us.

DWARS is an organisation that stands for accessible education: previously, DWARS organised a protest against the upcoming interest rate increase on student debt, making education even less accessible for students who have less to spend. We are already seeing a decline in throughput, which is harmful: everyone should have the chance to develop.
