Vacancies Board 2025 - 2026

We have been working with our current board since this summer. But, there is always room for extra hands to get this department as beautiful and enjoyable as it can be!

Therefore, we are always looking for motivated DWARSers to join our board. The vacancies for General Board Member and Treasurer are still open, so if you are interested, please apply!

You can mail your cover letter to secretaris.brabant@dwars.org. During the AAV, you will briefly explain your motivation letter, after which the members can ask questions. And who knows, maybe afterwards you will have the honour of being a board member at the nicest department, DWARS Brabant-Zeeland.

Treasurer (~5-6 hours per week)

The unsung hero of every board is the treasurer. As treasurer, you are responsible for the financial ups and downs of the department. At DWARS Brabant-Zeeland this means that you set the budget every year. You determine how the available money is spent and how much an activity can and may cost. Should things go quiet for a while financially, you are there to help your fellow board members.

So, are you:

  • Eager to deal with money or numbers;
  • Good at consulting;
  • Task-aware;

And do you want to ensure that DWARS Brabant-Zeeland remains financially healthy? Then you could be our new treasurer!

General board member (~5-6 hours per week)

General board members come in all shapes and sizes. That's because as a general board member you are usually given a number of specific tasks (portfolio), such as organising activities, campaigning, keeping the social media up to date or dealing with politics or inclusion! This makes general board members really indispensable for a top board.

So, are you:

  • Eager to work on a specific task;
  • Good at communicating;
  • Flexible in your work;
