The activities: from drag law to veganism!

At DWARS Brabant, fun activities are organised every month. Close to home, to catch up or make new friends! In which we talk about anything and everything: new political developments, that one president Lubach keeps talking about, that fun tinder date last night and Tim will most probably come up with an anarchist anecdote and order an extra round of beer! ~

The themes of activities can be very different. In the past 2 months, for instance, we have watched the infamous Jesse docu, surfaced our unconscious biases, discussed the drag law with the JS and explored veganism in practice!

But how did the DWARSers themselves actually experience the activities? I ask two enthusiastic members:

Fleur Otten

“I really liked all the cross activities I've been to so far! The atmosphere is good, I always find it very sociable. You can also easily strike up a conversation with someone you haven't spoken to before. Of course, it's also nice to get to know people who have the same political mindset as you. One of the most fun activities I found was the vegan three-course dinner. Very educational and also very tasty :)”

Martijn Tervelde:

“I unfortunately can't come as often as I want, but I will definitely come to the Lustrum! The atmosphere at the activities strikes me as really nice and inclusive :). I appreciated that immensely, and that, i.c.m. the good discussions led me to become a member!”

The more DWARSers there are the cozier of course, you can always drop by to experience it for yourself! We also have a number of other activities coming up, including a debate with other political youth organisations, our big Lustrumfeest (!) and lots of drinks of course, see you soon!
