Review of municipal elections

What great results we achieved in the municipal elections in Brabant and Zeeland! On 16 March, GroenLinks won in 3 of the 5 largest cities in Brabant (Eindhoven, Helmond and Tilburg). We also did well in Den Bosch and Breda: GroenLinks retained their seats there.

Of course, we are happiest with the many DWARSe candidates who made it onto the city council! There are at least 7 of them. Even the DWARSers who just did not get into the council now often hold important positions as citizen councillors or group support. Although we did not win everywhere, and unfortunately the turnout among young people was again very low, we are still happy with the result. Congratulations to the new DWARSe councillors, citizen councillors and group supporters. DWARS Brabant-Zeeland wishes you huge success over the next four years!

In addition, as a board, we are proud of all the DWARSers who have committed to the campaign recently. Everyone who helped with flyering, shared our posts online or attended the campaign training, thank you! Because of you, our department stays afloat and we show Brabant and Zeeland that it can be greener, more leftist and more inclusive in politics.
