Joint statement Eindhoven political youth organisations

Today we saw a new low in Eindhoven. The riots that took place in Eindhoven have nothing to do with peaceful protest. We condemn all rioters, looters and vandals who caused damage in our city. We hope that the police will track down all perpetrators so that they can be brought to justice. We sympathise with the victims, including business owners, terrified youths and station staff.

To the rioters, we say: these acts cannot be condoned. Think of the people who will be victims of your actions. This causes additional coronas victims, damage to shopkeepers and their families! Respect emergency workers and obey the law. The Eindhoven community should not have to pay for the damage caused!
