As mentioned in the introduction to this mail, we are looking for one new board member. You can apply for treasurer or general board member. The duties of these roles are as follows:
Treasurer
As treasurer, you keep track of the finances of DWARS Brabant. You ensure that the budgets for activities are clear in advance and that the activities actually take place within these budgets. As treasurer, you are mainly responsible for this, but will of course consult with your fellow board members. In addition, you ultimately record all expenses in the accounting system.
General board member (activities coordinator)
As a general board member, you will support the rest of the board in carrying out their functions, think up and implement cool actions and events. We are specifically looking for someone who, as a general board member, wants to fulfil the role of activities coordinator. This mainly involves keeping an overview of all activities in the annual planning, arranging locations and contacting speakers. In short, the practical side of organising activities!
As a general board member, your duties are otherwise relatively open. So you can get involved in the things you like/are good at or here you can discover where your talents lie!
