DWARS Brabant and JS Brabant come up with counter agreement
07 May 2020DWARS Brabant, together with JS Brabant, is coming up with its own response to the Brabant coalition. Earlier this week, it was announced that VVD and CDA are joining hands with FvD to form a majority in the Brabant Provincial Council. JS Brabant and DWARS Brabant are deeply concerned about the future of North Brabant and are therefore launching their own agreement.
At the end of 2019, the coalition between GroenLinks, PvdA, VVD, CDA and D66 collapsed because the CDA did not agree with the nitrogen measures deemed necessary by the other coalition partners. Since then, CDA and VVD searched for a new coalition and found it with FvD and Lokaal Brabant. Today, they presented their new coalition agreement.
In response to this coalition agreement, JS Brabant and DWARS Brabant propose their own counter-agreement. A 15-point plan containing the spearheads as we think they should be in Brabant. The aim is to draw attention to the big problem this coalition, in their view, is.
