The cash committee audits the expenditure of the department. Three times a year, the audit committee carries out a cash audit, once before each departmental congress and once after the turn of the year. Twice a year, the committee reports on this during the departmental congress. The audit committee consists of three members.

As a member of the treasury committee (KasCo), you are elected for a one-year term. This usually happens in June but can also happen in November in case of a mid-term vacancy. You check the department's financial policy, do the checking of receipts and report on them. In particular, you liaise with the treasurer. You may be a member of the audit committee for a maximum of three years.
